The story started with a routine visit to the lighthouse,the nest was nearly completed and if the weather had been less windy the nest would have been removed,however on the next visit I saw the three eggs and left things to take there natural course. Subsequent visits saw two fledglings,then down to the one bird,this one became entangled in the nest and by its size I can only presume that the parent birds continued to feed it,shortly after I released it all the birds had moved on and the nest was removed. |
